    マルヤマン

    札幌市にある円山動物園。
    ゆるキャラの飼育員さんがいるのですが、それがマルヤマン。

    名前からして、戦隊もののような感じはしますが、グリーンの頭頂部までの全身タイツ（？）の様な格好をしていて、頭には“Ｍ”のイエローの文字が輝く。
    凛々しい眉毛と、鼻筋の通った顔立ちは、ゆるい劇画タッチ。

    本名は、円谷満（つぶらやまみつる）。
    こどもの日に生まれた、５０歳。
    普段は、動物園内で飼育員として活躍しているそうですが、札幌市内のイベントにも登場して場を盛り上げているそうです。

    動物のお世話、観察に熱心に取り組んでいらっしゃるようで、動物愛溢れています。

    円山動物園というと、飼育でさえ難しいホッキョクグマの繁殖に成功している動物園ですが、その陰には、マルヤマンの力もあったのかもしれません。

    仕事の後の缶コーヒーが好物だそうで、いつの日かアノ缶コーヒーのCMで、日本一有名な宇宙人との共演も見てみたいでですね。
