    　もとはゴマフアザラシだったあさっぴーは、旭川のヒーローになりたいという願いから、ホッキョクグマの姿に変身したという不思議な力の持ち主。

    　マントの様なフリンジは旭川ラーメン、大雪山がプリントされたシャツに旭川を彷彿させるストライプのパンツ、腰には旭橋のベルト、首には赤いマフラーをはためかせ、さながらヒーローというより昭和のスターのような出で立ち。
